Follytude was everything and more! The beautiful ocean views from the HUGE deck. The amazing decor and inviting atmosphere inside the house. The beds are so comfortable and everything is within walking distance ( we were lazy and rented a golf cart!) Sam makes everything easy from checking in to checking out. We will definitely be back!!!

We loved our few days at Follytude. The house was so clean and decorated beautifully. The kitchen had every gadget anyone would ever need. The location was wonderful. The view of the ocean from the front deck was beautiful and we loved hearing it as we sat there. Sam made the check in so easy and communicated so well with us and we were able to get in a little early too. We loved using the beach chairs he has for his guests and the outdoor shower was great. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Perfect location with easy access to beach. Fantastic ocean views from the large deck! Very pet friendly with lots of features that include a fenced area, outdoor shower, screened in back porch and ample parking space, etc. Looking forward to another stay at Follytude!!

Follytude was perfect for our stay. If you want the true beach cottage stay, this is it. Beach access was perfect. Loved the fact that nice beach chairs and towels were provided. One less thing to pack! We had amazing food and music at Rita’s and Loggerheads. Sam was a great host. Thanks for the amazing stay!

We absolutely loved the vintage cottage. It was wonderful, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Very short walk to the beach and loved having a view of the ocean just from across the street. Also, enjoyed that cottage living area is all on one level and that the entrance is only a few steps from parking. We will definitely choose to stay here again. Wonderful location and property on Folly Beach! Our family of four stayed here for a long weekend. Sam was extremely proactive and easy to communicate with for check in, etc. The house was just as described by the host. We particularly enjoyed the deck loungers, as we could sit on the deck and still see and hear the ocean! The beach is a very short stroll right across the street. This section of beach is wide and flat and seemed to be less crowded than the area closer to the pier. Overall, it was perfect and relaxing, and we would definitely stay here again!

A lovely & well-situated beach house, with a wonderful, communicative host! Our family enjoyed our time there. The house was pristinely clean, and, as others have said, even nicer than the pictures! Sam as provided everything you need from beach chairs to kitchen & bath items. There are plenty of pillows, blankets, towels, and pantry items. The beds are comfortable, there are ceiling fans and floor fans in the closet (which I appreciate). I enjoyed the view of the ocean sitting at the kitchen table, and of course on the immense deck. Entry and exit were a breeze. Don’t hesitate to book here! Sam is a trustworthy host.

Sam saved us when the airbnb we rented had issues and we had to last minute find something to move rentals. He was so quick to respond and within 12 hours of messaging we were booked. The cleaning crew got there early and we were able to check in just a few hours later. The place was very clean! The deck is great but I wish there was more shade. We followed the shade of the palm tree but an umbrella by the table would be amazing. The beach is literally two houses down and we were one of two groups on the beach! The home has everything you might need as well including so many beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella. We loved the updated bathroom! My daughter loved the bunk bed room. The location is quite good. We did drive to center street since we were with kids. It’s walkable though. Location was overall very quiet which was nice. I love that any unused food gets donated to a food bank too. Thank you Sam!

Comfortable quintessential beach cottage. Ocean breezes and views. Large deck with tons of seating. Big round dining table for family gathering. Well stocked with towels, quality beach chairs and kitchen stuff. Walkable to Folly restaurants, pier and shops.

We had an amazing Spring Break at FollyTude! Sam was a wonderful host—very helpful and friendly. House was clean and smelled so fresh right when we walked in that first day. The pictures and description don’t fully convey the beautiful views of the ocean from the front deck and from within the home. It was so relaxing to hang out at the house, and the beach was only steps away (just two houses to the right). We got lucky with some beautiful weather for most of the week, and the house was a great place to relax on the one rainy day. There were six of us with plenty of room to spread out, room to eat at the big table together, and privacy when needed. Our pup enjoyed herself too! The deck has a little gate, so she could join us there and take a nap. The dog run was very convenient too. The kitchen comes equipped with everything we needed to cook, but we enjoyed Folly and Charleston restaurants too. Hank’s Seafood was our favorite this trip! Thanks for everything, Sam!

Our stay at Follytude was great! Everything about the house fit our group to a "T". The front deck is amazing to just hang out on. Beach chairs were provided along with plenty of lounge chairs. We truly loved the round table that seated 8 adults! The location of the house could not be beat! This is a definite place to book whether you come with friends or family!

Great beach house! We've stayed on Folly a lot and this was one of the cleanest houses ever. Liked the open floor plan and the front deck view of ocean is better than expected. Quick walk to beach made for easy trips back home. Kitchen Dining and front Living Room make a great communal space, and back porch is a cool get away. Was here to work as well as play and had many different spots to sit and focus-- or chill and relax. We are bringing the dogs next time.

We came to unplug and this house gave us plenty of relaxing space inside and out. Front deck is huge and felt like we were right on the beach with fantastic ocean views. The breezes and the sound of the waves made for great reading and nap time on the many chairs provided. The beach itself is a few steps away and seems perfect location mid island- not too busy crowded like closer to town. We had a few rainy days but no problem here the layout has plenty of space and the back porch (roof and screened-in) was the spot to play cards while the raindrops fell. I LOVED being able to see the ocean from the the back porch and kitchen. Mattresses were all cozy comfy so we had great sleeps. Sam was very responsive to the few questions we had during our stay. We would love to come back!
